What is Private Labeling dropshipping ?
Private labeling dropshipping is that you sell (existing) products of your choosing, under your own private brand (label) on a marketplace .

When a customer buy from you , the supplier will ship your product to your customer.

Private labeling is a very popular method used by seller in Amazon , and I am sure it will be here soon .Private label is actually date back From the 90s

Lets see why private labeling is important?

1)The customization of store brand labels — such as to logos and tag lines — can personalize a customer’s shopping experience that can lead to higher customer loyalty.
2)private label branding is a way to build customer loyalty from people who like your business’ products.
3)It give you more ownership to you business since you are owning the brands.
4)You have more profit margin , since the products are cheaper in cost.

Now let look at what you need to start a private labeling dropshipping business:

1)You need to spend money into buying bulk in most of the time.Unless you are using printify ,cj dropshipping or similar web site , that provides per piece selling , but the cost will be much more expensive .
2)You need to look for a supplier that does private labelling , and this is the easiest part .Chinabrands , cj dropshipping , aliexpress and alibaba does all these. Contact them for more information
3)Do your products research before selling .

My own experience of private labeling:

The very first products that I started OEM is Shaker 3 years back . I bought the shaker including logo printing is $1.50 so around RM 7 ,I bought 20 boxes of them with 100 shakers in one box. and I sell it for RM 10-15 in lazada and shopee . I stop selling it now , as the selling price in these platform is my cost price . Unless I can provide features that my shaker can do and others cannot .

Private labeling does give you the freedom to create your own brands , but make sure that you do your research before buying .And I would like to say also that noone success in their first business , just like me , I screwed things up all the time .
